About Us

Our Approach

The mission of 1st Step Learning Partners is to give children with autism and other developmental disabilities the best treatment possible based on proven methods and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This will include data-driven, individualized programs focusing on using ABA principles and concepts to help the children better manage their behavior excesses and deficits as well as improving their communication, social-emotional, and self-help skills.

Here at 1st Step Learning Partners, we believe in a team approach, and the families being our partners. We focus on the needs of the family and its fundamental role in the success of our programs. We are dedicated to providing each family with customized support and training using the principles and techniques of ABA while following the ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BCBA)(B C B A). Our programs are supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)(B C B As) and focus on direct in-home therapy, parent training, and social groups to help individuals function to the best of their ability across all settings.
